Reformer Pilates in Houston: River Oaks, West U and the Heights

Your first reformer Pilates class at Persona Pilates is $10 at any of our three Houston studios: River Oaks on Mid Lane, West U on West Holcombe Boulevard, or Houston Heights on the North Loop. Pick the one closest to home or work and we'll take it from there.

If you're looking for Pilates in Houston that feels like it was built for you, not for the average person in the room, that's the idea behind Persona Pilates. Before your first class, the 3-minute Persona Survey tells your instructor how you move, what you want out of Pilates and what to be careful with. From there, class is coached to your Persona.

How reformer Pilates works at Persona Pilates

A 3-minute Persona Survey, five Personas

Answer three quick questions about your experience, goals and any injuries, and you're sorted into one of five Personas. Each has its own pace and focus. Your instructor sees your profile before class, so you're not re-explaining a knee or a recent injury at check-in.

Coaching built around you

Classes are 45 minutes, full body, slow and controlled. On the Maven reformer, your instructor adjusts springs, pace and cues to your Persona and gives you modifications when you need them. You don't need to know the machine before you arrive; that's what the first few minutes are for.

A plan that keeps up with you

The Persona Body Scanner tracks change from class to class, so your plan evolves as you get stronger. Our instructors all train through Persona Pilates' in-house program, so the coaching carries over if you switch between River Oaks, West U and the Heights.

Not sure which Houston studio to pick?

Start with location, because the best studio is the one you'll actually get to three times a week. Then match the class. Want pure reformer? River Oaks is a dedicated reformer room, and West U and the Heights run reformer classes too. Want heat? Go to West U for Hot Mat Sculpt. Want cardio in your Pilates? Head to the Heights for Persona Combo. If you're brand new, book Persona Foundations at whichever studio is closest. It's the gentlest way to learn the reformer.

One membership works at any Persona Pilates location in Houston or Austin, so you can mix a weekday class near the office with a weekend class near home.
