Maven Training
Access to our exclusive Maven training. Included is personalization training, business acumen, and 8 other courses that go well beyond the reformer floor.
Mat Training
Learn to teach our new heated, revolutionary beat-based Mat classes — in studio or at on-site events across the city.
Training is just $500 up front — we don't make money off training, we want to get you on the floor. Mat training moves quickly; Maven reformer certification is a structured 60-day path (details below) so you're fully ready before you're on the public schedule.
We call our instructors Curators — on purpose
We foster a truly collaborative culture because it creates the most enriching environment for our team, our clients, and our studios. Our goal is the most personalized workout possible, which is why our instructors curate every class instead of running a script. We actively avoid the drama of pay-per-spot or per-attendance models that pit Curators against one another — instead, we align incentives so we all succeed together.

A structured, 60-day certification
Our proprietary 5-step path for Maven Reformer instructors — from online modules and observation through co-teaching, a mock class, and final sign-off. Each step is approved before you move to the next, so you're genuinely ready before you touch the public schedule.
Online portal
Complete every module in the online training portal, in order — building foundational knowledge before hands-on instruction begins.
Studio Captain 1:1s
Get studio access and hands-on training on the mic, stopwatch, and music system, then practice and refine your routine directly with your assigned Captain.
Co-teach
Co-teach the first 15 minutes of one of your Captain's real, scheduled classes. Repeat until confidence is high on both sides.
Friends & family mock class
Teach a full class, start to finish, to a friends-and-family audience — off the public schedule. This is the pass/fail checkpoint before you're added to booking.
Director & owner sign-off
Once you pass the mock class, the Director of Fitness sets up a final call with the studio owners — then you're added to the schedule and eligible to sub.
Take classes & observe
Alongside every step above: take 20+ classes as a participant and observe 10+ from the back of the room, spread across the full 60 days.
The full path is capped at 60 days from your start date, and training costs just $500 up front — we don't make money off training, we want you on the floor. Target day ranges keep things moving, but sign-off from your Captain (and, at the end, the Director of Fitness and owners) still governs each step. Mat training follows a lighter, faster path since it doesn't require reformer certification.
